Dr. Theresa M. Hom, D.O.DABMA

 

Dr. Theresa has been practicing in Central Ohio since 1987, providing Holistic Medical care.  She has been board certified Osteopathic Family Practice with Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment and  Medical Acupuncture

She has additional training in Fulford Percussor myofascial release and cranial osteopathy.  These are gentle and effective treatments in chronic headache,  back pain and other musculoskeletal problems.

She graduated with her D.O. (Doctor in Osteopathic Medicine) in 1984 from Michigan State University.  She completed her family practice residency at Doctor's Hospital  in 1986.

​

She completed the UCLA Medical Acupuncture for Physicians program in 1989 and has  30 + years of experience in medical acupuncture treating chronic pain, chronic fatigue  and other complex health issues .  She teaches medical students, residents and the public about integrative approaches  for stress management, women's health and chronic pain.

Dr. Theresa has been active in the Central Ohio community  for many year supporting  increased health care access  at Southeast Primary Care clinic
