Financial Policies

Since Dr. Hom participates in a very limited number of  health plans, currently Aetna, Anthem,   Medicare, United Healthcare  for OMT or acupuncture. We will work with you  to identify the best options  to serve your needs.

 

We may recommend that you develop a relationship with a primary care doctor on your plan for your routine care in order to reduce your out of pocket costs. We do not have in house facilities for specialized tests such as  EKG or X-rays; these are referred to appropriate locations or hospitals.

 

For the most part, acupuncture is not yet covered by Medicare, but may be covered by some private insurance  Most insurance plans cover Osteopathic Manipulation (OMT), but  may be subject to co-insurance

 

Please contact your insurance company regarding your plan coverage for acupuncture, “out of network” or “point of service” medical care. We attempt to minimize your medical cost with reasonable fees for the services provided and only bill for the plans we participate in.  

 

Payment is expected at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.  We accept cash, checks, Visa, Discover and MasterCard.
